Agreement to Terms

By using Bookit ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree to these Terms, please don't use our Service. These Terms are written in plain English to make them easy to understand.

Description of Service

Bookit is an online appointment scheduling platform that helps service businesses accept bookings and send automated SMS confirmations and reminders.

We provide the technology platform, but we are not responsible for the quality of services provided by businesses using Bookit.

User Accounts

To use Bookit, you must:

• Provide a valid phone number
• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Keep your account information up to date

You are responsible for all activity on your account and for keeping your account access secure.

SMS Communications

If you provide your phone number and check the SMS consent box, you agree to receive transactional SMS messages related to your bookings. The consent checkbox is unchecked by default—you must actively check it to opt in to SMS communications.

By checking the SMS consent box, you agree to receive the following types of transactional messages:

• Account verification codes
• Appointment confirmations
• Appointment reminders
• Cancellation or rescheduling notifications

We do not send promotional or marketing SMS messages.

Standard messaging rates from your carrier may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Spam, harass, or abuse other users
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data
• Impersonate another person or business
• Repeatedly miss appointments without canceling (no-shows)

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Cancellations and No-Shows

Clients are expected to cancel appointments in advance if they cannot attend. Service providers may set their own cancellation policies.

Repeated no-shows may result in your account being restricted or terminated.

Payments and Fees

Service providers pay a monthly subscription fee to use Bookit. Clients do not pay to book appointments through the platform.

Payment for services rendered is between the client and the service provider. Bookit is not responsible for disputes related to service quality or payment.

Disclaimers

Bookit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• SMS messages will always be delivered on time
• Service providers will honor appointments
• The Service meets your specific needs

We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of services booked through the platform.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bookit is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@bookit.sh.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any reason with notice to you.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
